WUI Engineering Science Curriculum for the Fire Service

FireTox is pleased to be joining with the Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management & Public Safety (MACEM&PS) to develop a curriculum for WUI risk assessment and mitigation. MACEM&PS was awarded a grant to perform curriculum consultant services for the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) to support its FEMA funded project. The project team will be responsible for reviewing existing training and best practices, developing engineering based curriculum, piloting the draft curriculum, soliciting feedback from engineering and fire service professionals, and creating implementation materials.
